About Bellflower Girl

From as far back as I can remember, I have loved to draw and paint. As a child I whiled away the long summer hours flitting from one art project to another. I was greatly influenced by my hearing-impaired mother, the most talented person I’ve ever known. As I grew older, painting took a backseat, but not my love for creating. For years I’ve owned a small boutique, and while searching for just the right products, my greeting card business was born. I started designing cards with inspirational quotes, often accented with some of my watercolor art. I love sending and receiving cards and wanted to focus on celebrating the ordinary days of in our lives. I've always believed it is the everyday things, the ordinary moments, that make up the whole of who we become. I grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, not far from Bellflower, California, the very place mother met and married my late father. She often told me it was during that time in her life when she was the happiest. She remains the inspiration behind so much of what I do. And so, to her, my beautiful “Bellflower Girl,” I lovingly dedicate this adventure. I miss her terribly, and I hope I'm making her proud. Thank you for visiting! I greatly appreciate you being here!
