About Bird & Co Studio

*Most Promising Young Designer Award - Henries 2024* Hi there! Welcome to my adventurous and colourful world. I’m Emily Byrd, the illustrator and founder of Bird & Co Studio. At Bird & Co Studio we create quality, eco-conscious paper goods and gifts inspired by the natural world and designed to help protect it. I have always had a passion for getting out into nature and exploring the wild. From a young age, I was at my happiest drawing in trees and making woodland dens. If I’m not creating in my studio or out walking my spaniel Mylo, I’m probably climbing a mountain somewhere or catching some waves. The awesome places I’ve been lucky enough to visit and the incredible experiences I’ve had has given me a huge amount of inspiration, love and respect for our natural world and I feel passionate about doing what I can to protect it. That’s why all the products created at Bird & Co are made and packaged using high quality, responsibly sourced, plastic-free, recycled or sustainable materials. I look to innovate in order to encourage people to keep and reuse items that would typically be used on one occasion and thrown away. Through tree planting projects and donations, I also support charities that are working hard to make our world a greener place. My hope is that through my colourful, wholesome and nostalgic designs I can help people reconnect; both with those they feel closest to and the great outdoors (both are good for the soul!).
