On top of taking care of a little alien that can only cry to communicate, new mothers also have to navigate the new alienating experience of birth recovery and postpartum. Many mothers are not readily prepared for birth recovery and the many demands this period of postpartum entails. This is where our founder Natalie found herself in 2018 after the birth of her first child. After growing up in a house full of nurses and researching birthing and parenting thoroughly, Natalie thought she was more than prepared. It wasn't until her baby was placed on her chest that the reality of postpartum, the gap between birthing and parenting, hit her. And boy it hit her hard. Each day for many weeks Natalie felt as if she was hanging off the back of a truck going over a bumpy road. This traumatic experience led her to create Popped, a resource to help new moms navigate this stage, so no mother will feel the way she did. Popped offers multipurpose products to use for birth recovery and beyond. With an emphasis on natural ingredients and sustainability, Popped also manufactures and sells products and packaging almost exclusively Made in the USA.
