Started by a first-time mom chasing five quiet minutes Hi, I’m Darya — the maker behind SloGlo™. SloGlo started in a tiny New York kitchen, somewhere between nap times and to-do lists. As a first-time mom, I learned how powerful a five-minute ritual can be — that moment in the shower when the world quiets, and you finally get to breathe again. I wanted to bottle that feeling: calm, sensory, beautiful, and easy to reach for every day. So I began hand-pressing small batches of shower steamers, each one made to match a mood — morning energy or evening calm. Our scents are inspired by real life: citrus-bright starts, lavender evenings, cozy vanilla nights. Everything is designed to feel tactile, giftable, and mood-based — because self-care shouldn’t be complicated; it should be joyful. Every product is made with care in small batches, wrapped by hand, and sent with a smile (and usually a little extra).
