About Catenary Home
Catenary designs modern cat furniture that blends seamlessly into the home. We were born after a decade-long struggle of shopping for our past fur child, Owen. Owen was more than just a pet, he was a family member and roommate and the endless sea of cat products always compromised functionality or style. We decided to change that and create the modern cat furniture of our dreams. At Catenary, we believe in a world where there is no compromise on interior décor or cat comfort. Our name, Catenary, is a graceful, strong U-shaped curve formed by a free-hanging chain. This mathematically beautiful occurrence is the inspiration behind our design-forward cat brand. Our process is simple: design thoughtfully, prototype carefully, and never compromise on comfort or style. Catenary is shaping the future of modern pet design and setting the standard for what thoughtful pet furniture can be.

I am sadly very disappointed with the quality of the mirrored cat bowls. A large number of them had defects including dents, and a large paint splash on one making it completely unsellable. I did not report an issue on the previous order as Wicksie said she would rectify the situation. I specifically requested for the replacement bowls to be checked over for defects before sending. However the replacements and new bowls also have defects and the seller is now refusing to replace them.

Amanda at Kittyglitz reported that 6 out of 10 bowls were defective. We took her concerns seriously and sent replacements right away. She later claimed 5 out of 6 of the replacements were also defective, but the limited photos she provided appeared to show the same item multiple times. We kindly asked for a video to better understand, especially since we sell hundreds of these bowls each week without issue. Instead of sending a video, she then escalated to Faire. After reviewing everything, Faire confirmed our response was appropriate and declined the reimbursement request. We always stand by our commitment to replace truly defective items, but the volume reported here was unusually high and not clearly supported. We’ve sold hundreds of Chrome Halo Bowls without similar feedback and continue to stand by the quality of our products and the fairness with which this was handled. —Catenary Home • Jun 13, 2025
