Averfelt was born at the intersection of texture, tradition, and bold design. We started with a single idea: that holiday goods didn’t have to be throwaway, glitter-covered plastic. They could be sculptural. Meaningful. Built to last — and built to matter. Our collections begin in Nepal, where women artisans hand-felt every curve and contour using natural wool and time-honored techniques. Their skill is the heart of what we do. But our story doesn’t stop there. While much of our work is rooted in Nepal, we also partner with small businesses and women-led workshops around the world, sourcing goods that share our values: sustainability, craft, and impact. Our goal isn’t just to make beautiful things. It’s to create a sustainable supply ecosystem that puts women at the center — from production to ownership.
