Designed to reflect life's balance, where you'll find the yin to your yang, mind to your body and cheesecake to your salad! Flamingo Yoga Maya has been created and developed by Anna Kichenside, a thirty-something yogi from London with a background in fashion and shoe design. Anna discovered yoga to look after her back and scoliosis and went on to study the practice in great depth, after falling in love with how yoga can help you off the mat, mentally, as well as on the mat, physically. Anna is now a fully trained yoga teacher, as well as designer. Anna recalls: 'At the beginning of my practice, I fell out of Crow pose - an arm balance pose - and injured my shoulder. It was because I had forgotten my towel to wipe the sweat from the back of my arms. And so I slipped and hurt my shoulder'. It was this moment that Anna fused her two passions of design and yoga - creating FLAMINGO YOGA MAYA tops with built-in Signature Stretch Towelling to wipe away sweat during your yoga class, gym or workout.
