The Story Starting in 2014, after finishing art college, Effiena set out to create something unique and began hand mixing colours to create a nail polish line, using; holographic, metallic and multichrome pigments. After researching into nail care products, to offer a diverse range the Mani/Pedi bomb was born. Then realising this recipe was similar to a bath bomb, Effiena developed bath bombs to expanding her beauty range, then rebranding in 2016 to Vegan Beauty Cosmetics a concept that made it clearer on what the business was selling when attending and trading at different markets and events. In 2019 Effiena met Eliot on their master’s program and decided to rebrand and abbreviate the name to VBC. The business slowly discontinued nail polish, to solely focus on creating a unique range of bath bombs and gift sets. In 2020 we were sending out hundreds of bath bomb care packages across the country during those hard times. This was the year we developed further products such as our Soap & Shave and Body Scrubs. Since then, we began to realise that the body and skin care range just wasn’t the vibe that VBC offered and decided to create a new business dedicated to these types of products.Read their story
