Sweet Humble Home is a small boutique brand that was founded out of the desire to make simple things beautiful. I am a small-town Connecticut-raised southern transplant who has always believed in following big dreams and surrounding myself with the people and things that make me happy. Looking back, there were signs I'd be a small business owner. It started with selling rocks on the side of the road, followed in college by not settling for a sorority that existed and instead founding one that embraced ideals grounded in loyalty and service. Finally, years later, I started my own business when lay-offs made what seemed impossible possible—starting a business and working from home with my newborn. In that time I rekindled my love for writing and found my passion for creating beautiful pieces out of simple materials. From seasonal creations to the ones customers ask for again and again; my goal is to create pieces that help people feel like they've made their house a little more like home.
