About Homebody Candle Co.
Homebody Candle Co. started in 2014 with a simple idea: you deserve nice things — even on an ordinary Tuesday. I’m Elle, the founder, maker, packer, labeler, shipper + occasional professional box-stacker behind Homebody. For the last 12 years, I’ve been creating small-batch candles, perfumes, soaps, home fragrance + body products designed for real, everyday life. Everything is made by hand in our Chicago studio in small batches, with thoughtful fragrances, quality ingredients + a whole lot of care. Think candles burning while you fold laundry, perfume you reach for every morning, or soap that makes getting ready feel just a little nicer. Homebody is built around approachable luxury — beautiful things that don’t feel precious, intimidating or too fancy to actually use. Great fragrance should be fun to explore, easy to love + part of everyday life. What started as a one-woman candle company has grown into a full home + body collection carried by retailers across the country, but I’m still here making, packing + sending it all from Chicago.
