Midori Sol is a mother-daughter founded matcha company rooted in mindfulness, tradition, and connection. With family ties to Okinawa and mainland Japan, our story is shaped by generations of culture, ceremony, and reverence for the land. Midori Sol was created to honor Japanese tea traditions while sharing them in a way that feels meaningful in modern life. We work directly with tea farms and trusted partners in Japan, sourcing single-origin, first harvest matcha that is carefully cultivated and stone-milled using traditional granite mills. Each offering is cultivar-specific, highlighting the unique character of the region and farm, from the bright freshness of Asanoka to the creamy balance of Saemidori and the depth of Okumidori. Our matcha is vibrant, smooth, and naturally balanced, crafted for both traditional preparation and modern use. It performs beautifully in lattes while maintaining the integrity of ceremonial matcha.
