Historia Cultural is a small family business based in Los Angeles, California devoted to Inspiring our Youth by Providing Educational Resources that Celebrate Latino History and Achievement. What gave birth to Historia Cultural was our own self-reflection on our experiences within the school system. To elaborate, despite having been born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and attending schools throughout life that were composed of a student body that was predominantly of Hispanic background, very little of the school curriculum and educational supplies were dedicated to students learning about our own Hispanic heritage and history. We realized that this needed to change, not only to connect the younger generations to the incredible individuals who have been part of our history but also to inspire the younger generations to continue moving our culture forward.
