About Wa
Hi there! I'm Mayra, designer of Willow + Alder. I began my journey into business back in 2009 when I was living and loving life in NYC. This business started as a hobby where I was designing jewels for friends and quickly turned into a business. My passion is handbags and in 2021 I launched a new line of neoprene handbags. I hope you love them as much as I do. Originally, from Texas, I returned to Austin, TX, and began showing at AmericasMart and Dallas Market Center. Fast forward to today, I reside in Spanish Fort, AL with my husband Shaiban, and three kiddos Michael, Ava, and Emily and our fourth on the way. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my kids for these times are so precious. I also love to cook and stay informed as to what is going on in the world.

I just had to pay my invoice for products I’ve never received. As a small business this apparently was a horrible choice for a vendor I have contacted this company and Faire itself several times with nothing resolved. Beyond disappointed!!!!

I ordered 3 neoprene totes & silicone wristlets - I received 3 leather cross body bags ONLY... that I did not order. I did not get an email, or any notification items were not available etc. I don't have time for mistakes like this. I have started the refund process with faire.
