Wild Rabbit Apothecary was born when owner and creator, Elise Caldarola, began experimenting with creating natural bath, body and beauty products with herbs from her backyard garden. Each product is handmade in her home, in small batches using organic ingredients. Elise brings her years of personal experience with herbalism, holistic healing, natural wellness, spiritual practice and chronic illness to the brand and product line. As someone who has gone on her own healing journey, both body and soul, and who loves a chic aesthetic, she understands the need for high quality self-care rituals that are good for you and for the Earth. After healing Lyme disease using only herbal protocols, homeopathy, energy medicine, lifestyle modification and holistic supplements, Elise was amazed at the deeply powerful and restorative abilities of plants and nature. She eventually left her decade long career as a high school Italian teacher to pursue a life more aligned with her body’s needs and her spirit’s calling. She now teaches yoga, meditation and Ayurveda, in addition to managing Wild Rabbit.
