About Irene Lynch Art

Local Cape Codder, Irene Lynch, has developed her art collection based on her love and inspiration of her home. Since graduating from UMass Amherst with a BA in Studio Arts with a concentration in oil painting, she has since found newfound love in watercolors. Inspiration from her travels, along with the influence from the local Arts community she grew up around, Irene's little doodles between (and during) her summe waitressing shifts became founding paintings in her collection you see today. 2020 sent Irene back home to Eastham from her travels, where she was left with no distractions but to PAINT! She grew a community of Cape Cod lovers on her Instagram through sharing her paintings, who yearned for their beach days back and that peace we all needed during the pandemic. It didn't take long for Irene to realize that painting her surroundings of her home was indeed, painting your memories. Through this connection, Irene went full time in 2020. By 2021, Irene has created a full line of coloring books, stationary, stickers, and art prints inspired by her signature watercolor and ink style. In 2023 Irene opened her own studio in Eastham, Sunset Artist Studios, which serves as a community arts space. Not only does she supply studio space to local artists, this space also welcomes artists throughout the community to teach their craft to the community at large.
