Boavistacircular is a brand that uses waste and turns it into daily cleaning products. Oil is a great polluter once discarded improperly; soap-making ends the life cycle of this waste. 1L of oil can pollute around 40.000 liters of water, clog sewerage pipes, and harm our soils. Boavistacircular also offers a multi-purpose sponge made from recycled fishing nets. A Brazilian artisan developed this product, which is ethically made, giving opportunities to poor women in the South of Brazil and saving our oceans from the "Ghost gear," one of the biggest plastic polluters in our oceans. Once the fishing net is no longer helpful for the fishing industry, it tends to be abandoned at the bottom of the ocean. Turning it into incredibly resistant sponges that will last ten times longer than regular kitchen sponges.
