Pen to paper really can be healing and inspiring. Hi, I am Annette, a calligrapher based in Wiltshire and here at Belle Loves to Letter we bring the beauty of modern calligraphy to a range of occasion and everyday greeting cards to deliver a smile and kind words with gentle encouragement and lots of sparkle. We hope to inspire, connect and celebrate through thoughtful sentiments, beautiful cards with delicate finishes and the power of the handwritten word. Each design begins with hand drawn elements, all created digitally alongside calligraphy using pastel tones and bright summer colours, finished with delicate textures. My love for calligraphy began in March 2018 whilst going through a period of illness (another mental health relapse). I found myself wanting to be creative again after a ten year absence. I discovered modern calligraphy, and very quickly became addicted. Little did I realise this would reignite my creativity and passion, something I thought I had lost. I began to draw again (mainly modern florals) and write short poetic phrases, and soon after I created my first collection and Belle Loves to Letter was born.
