I design and manufacture a line of womens sweaters. The majority of my business is selling wholesale to small boutiques; however, I also sell retail through upscale art shows. I LOVE meeting the actual customer in person and working with them to find their next favorite sweater. I begin the process of sweater design by sourcing yarn for the upcoming season. Based on the yarn choice, I design and make all of the first patterns/sweaters. I find this to be the most enjoyable part of the process. Many times the finished sweater looks nothing like what you put on paper! My customer's sweater will be a treasured item that she feels fantastic in and will choose to wear over and over again. In short, the greatest compliment I can receive is "I still wear the sweater that I bought from you 20 years ago."
