About Kotanical

KOTANICAL is the first company in Ireland to distill oil from natural native sources. While others import oils and re-bottle, Kotanical founder Karl Murray saw the potential in the abundance of flora available closer to home. Having spent over six years researching Essential Oil distillation techniques and experimenting with wild crafted ingredients, Karl's vision has became a reality through growing herbs independently, utilizing local sourcing methods and developing relationships with farmers and growers. The production of Ireland's first and only essential oils began. All of our essential oils are organic -- free from sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic fragrance, formaldehyde, and mineral oil -- as well as cruelty free as a part of the Leaping Bunny program. We strive to be eco-friendly with minimal packaging to reduce waste - one of the reasons we don't have an outer package for our oils. Our White Stone Oil ultrasonic diffuser is award winning (2022 Hi Best Beauty Buys) - the internal part is BPA-free plastic with an outer porcelain shell. Other products include essential-oil based roll-on or rollerballs, room sprays, yoga mat sprays, pillow sprays, and candles. All our products are great for gifts as well. Our products currently do not have barcodes for point of sale.
