Our company, “Aceites el Tilo”, was born in a humble family who has dedicated all their lives to agriculture and olive cultivation in the Sierra de las Villuercas (Cáceres), where there is a great olive tradition. Within the Geopark de las Viluercas, the oils obtained from its olive trees convey all the love of the land cultivated by the Santos family for generations Aceites el Tilo is a young, environmentally conscious company that has solar panels for the irrigation system implemented in 7000 olive trees. In addition, the El Tilo farm has 2000 more dry olive trees. Our ambition and persistence have led us to open a market in Switzerland and the US. The extra virgin olive oils from El Tilo come exclusively from the cornicabra olives grown with care in our family farm with limited production. The olives are harvested early in early November, when they begin to change color for subsequent cold extraction of the oil and stored in its own stainless steel reservoir. Our product has been classified as a gourmet category after receiving the diploma from the French Agency for the Valorization of Agricultural Products (AVPA). The Lime Cornicabra features a green olive fruity of medium high intensity, with notes of olive and almond leaf, and memories of apple. On the palate it is something sweet at the entrance, with very well balanced sensations of bitterness and itching of medium intensity.
