Meet the cat toothbrush designed for feline anatomy. Why is brushing your cat’s teeth so difficult? Meet your cat’s funny bone: The Jacobson's Organ. It’s a big open nerve that sits behind cat’ front teeth. Most toothbrushes hit the Jacobson’s Organ, so tooth-brushing is a uncomfortable, albeit, painful task for all involved. Samantha & Melanie used to be in the typical cat owners’ shoes: wrestling down their cat, Henry, and dodging claws to brush his teeth. It was such a fight that they gave up on brushing. After a $2,000 procedure for clean up & extractions, they decided it was time to start brushing again. The problem? Every pet toothbrush was WAY too big for a cat’s mouth. So, they designed their own based specifically on cat dental anatomy.
