SCOUT was co-founded by Deb Waterman Johns in 2004. A working mom of four, Deb needed stylish, high-utility, affordable bags to organize and navigate her family's busy life. When she couldn't find them, she made them. Today, Deb leads our almost-all-female team at SCOUT HQ in Washington, DC. Every SCOUT product is designed to stand up to real life, delivering function and fashion with bold, bright, limited-edition patterns that bring joy. (Plus, solids and neutrals). We call it pretty utility.
