QUICK — Q1905 In 1905, the Netherlands got a legendary sports brand. From a home workshop in Hengelo, the first Quick football boots were handmade. In 1928, Quick launched the official running shoe of the Olympic Games, the brand's first milestone by many. Quick did not go unnoticed after that; the greatest professional football players in the Netherlands made wonderful profits over the famous Quickies. In 1947, the entire Dutch team even wore Quick shoes, and there is hardly anything better for a sports brand. In the 1980s, sports shoes and sneakers first began to blend into the general street scene and Quick has also responded to this. In 2001, we reintroduced the brand. The classic Quick's — adapted to the present day — were sold at the coolest sneaker stores in the Netherlands, Milan and Paris. The comeback was a fact. Q1905 Looking to the future, the Quick name has been changed to Q1905, for a clear and unique signature. And determined to be even more legendary in the coming years than Quick's past hundred years. #LIKEALEGEND is therefore the motto that best describes our forward view, because giving up is not an option. Success never comes all at once in top sport. It is always a combination of willpower, conviction and perseverance. That is what Q1905 stands for and is the contribution to today's sporting world.
