Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by the irregularities of natural forms. To echo this aesthetic, I often use my hands to create shapes in metal instead of industrial shaping tools or molds, making many of my pieces one-of-a-kind. Instead of searching for elements to fit pre-conceived designs, I hunt for stones with personality and natural inclusions, and create a wearable elements to showcase them. This freedom to focus on the beauty of a stone has inspired my wide range of designs, which feature finely detailed diamond accents, and bold, rustic statement pieces. My work is ever-evolving with new discoveries and influences, and I am never quite sure what my next collection will look like. The year before the pandemic hit, I uprooted from Boston and traveled the country in a 1971 Boler in search of a new home, selling at markets along the way. The last stop of my journey was British Columbia, where I fell in love with the land, and decided to stay. My collection was created in my little cottage among the trees on beautiful Salt Spring Island.
