Hello! My name is Ashley and I’m so happy you’re here! I started polymer clay as a hobby in 2019 and opened up my shop in January 2021. This creative medium has helped me through a lifelong battle of anxiety and depression. Right before I opened my shop, I also rescued a pup (8lb. Chiweenie) named Basil, which my shop is half named after. The ‘Moon’ is a take on Sailor Moon because that was my favorite to watch growing up. “Creating handmade art by moonlight” :D I love creating accessories for the fun in everyone with bold colors and statement shapes. I’m constantly exploring and developing new visions to incorporate in my art. Each piece is designed and handmade with polymer clay by me in my studio located in Austin, Texas. Colors are hand mixed, rolled out and individually cut, cured, sanded, buffed and polished to provide the highest quality. A few pieces are sealed with resin as well. Pattern and design can vary from piece to piece especially when working with multicolored designs, gradients and marbling. Polymer clay earrings are very lightweight so they are easy on the ears for long wear. I use lead and nickel free earring post & components with stay in place rubber backs. All metals are either put titanium, gold plated brass, gold plated stainless steel, gold filled , or hypoallergenic stainless steel.
