Drawing in Dark describes both my favourite time of day and my chosen medium, charcoal. I discovered charcoal pencils quite by chance, picking a pack up at a local shop and immediately fell in love. They allow me to produce such fine detail and the velvet black gives great depth to my drawings. I like to keep my work simple in terms of materials to let the subject shine through - for me drawing is an exploration and I create art to share the fascinating things I have seen.
