The Bessie Pearl Story Founded in 2016 by lifelong maker and sewing enthusiast Karen, Bessie Pearl Binding Co was born out of a simple frustration—making your own bias binding shouldn't be the hardest part of finishing a beautiful project. Tired of the time-consuming process and limited options available, Karen set out to create a solution that would make sewing more fun, efficient, and inspiring. Almost ten years later, Bessie Pearl has grown into one of the largest bias binding companies in the world. We’re proud to have partnered with thousands of makers, helping them bring their creative visions to life with high-quality, ready-made bindings.
