Welcome to Sensational Showers, my name is Stacy. I feel like I was destined to own a bath and body business. Why, you ask? Well, let me tell you why... I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica where natural and homemade are not a fad but a way of life. Moving to New England when I was young took a toll on my skin and I spent countless hours with numerous dermatologists to remedy my skin issues. After years of doctor visits, I uncovered that my issues all came from allergies and a sensitivity to harsh commercial products. On this research journey I taught myself how to make cold process soap, salves, infusions, and many more items I could use in my daily life. Since I was always trying new herbs and oil combinations it was only natural to begin to gift my creations to friends and family. As time went on these gifts turned to requests, which then turned into orders, and in 2010, the beginnings of what is now Sensational Showers. The name came from the fact that I kept hearing "sensational" as the way my items were described and thought it was only natural to use it in my business name.
