McGovern Outdoor is an American heritage brand born from a love of our National Parks. It started with a month-long road trip in 1990. One night under the stars in the Grand Canyon changed everything and sparked a lifelong passion for wild places. Over the next decade, my family and I explored as many parks as possible, collecting maps and memories along the way. In 2012, I began designing vintage-style maps to celebrate these experiences. Our first—Grand Teton—was a hit with friends and led to a small gift for the park itself. Their response? An invitation to exhibit at the National Park Service show, where we sold out on day one.
