Twinflower fashion was born from the lifelong passion for Indian clothing of our founder/creator Dawn. After 20 years in retail, Dawn created Twinflower- named for the Scottish wildflower found in the Cairngorms not far from her home. She has married her bohemian childhood in NYC in the 80s with her love of Scottish nature and Indian textiles. You will find muted, abundant colour, timeless classics, effortless, easy to wear, beautiful, functional pieces to cherish as well as beautifully designed accessories that make perfect gifts. Twinflower is about slow fashion and independent retail, and we work with indie bricks & mortar shops across the country and beyond, creating unique pieces that customers will adore and return to again and again for years to come. We are a small batch brand, making unique products in smaller batches sustainably. We actively avoid using AI, preferring to employ artists to create original works of art that form our wood blocks, and we hire and pay real models. We use leftover fabric as much possible being turned in to accessories. We work collaboratively with our colleagues in India, creating new and exciting styles and patterns for each season's collections. We support businesses that employ women from economically challenging backgrounds.
