About Nature's Mercantile
Nature’s Mercantile is a woman-owned modern apothecary and natural skincare brand based in Auburn, Indiana. Since opening our storefront in 2019, we have helped independent retailers stock approachable, small-batch products their customers return for—including handmade soaps, herbal-infused skincare, loose-leaf teas, dried herbs, botanical fragrance, candles, and natural gifts. My journey began more than 20 years ago when I started making soap for my children’s sensitive skin. That practical need grew into a lifelong commitment to thoughtfully made products, traditional ingredients, and personal customer care. Every order is prepared by our small team with the same attention we give customers in our own shop. Our collection is especially suited for apothecaries, gift shops, bookstores, farm stores, boutiques, refill shops, and natural-living retailers seeking distinctive products with an authentic maker story. Nature's Mercantile is a friend indeed and we love them! the burdock salve has become a favorite at home on my sink. I love their tins of magic and I think I now have them all. And I tried the burdock lotion too and other lotion. I commented on HOW GOOD it is directly to her and she shared she made the original recipe for her daughter years ago to overcome a skin issue and I can feel the love in that lotion when I rub it on. All these years later and people are still being blessed by that love!
