About Designs by Kim

Kim is a product designer based in Northern Illinois. As a stay at home mom looking for a creative outlet, she learned how to use her husband's CNC router to make custom wood signs. This lead her to investing into a laser machine in 2017, originally to continue her sign making, but quickly shifted to engraving custom jewelry, keychains, and other keepsakes. After realizing the potential for growth, one laser turned into six. She, along with her husband, and four amazing team members design and create all kinds of custom products to share with thousands of customers.Read their story
