Craig Bell's passion for local, raw honey began in 2001 when he sought a natural remedy for his wife Wendy's allergies. After a chance encounter with a swarm of bees and consulting with a seasoned beekeeper in Camden, SC, Craig began keeping bees as a hobby with just two colonies. Over time, his love for beekeeping grew, and he now tends to over a thousand honeybee colonies scattered throughout South Carolina. Some of his colonies have even traveled to California, Maine, and Wisconsin to pollinate the nation's finest crops. Craig strategically places many of his colonies to pollinate South Carolina's fruits and vegetables, including blackberries, blueberries, watermelons, squash, cucumbers, and strawberries, all while producing delicious honey.
