About Margot's Morsels

Our story begins with a weekend bread baker, Milt, and his passion for making sourdough bread. Family, friends, and his wife (that's me, Margot), have been the enthusiastic noshers of Milt’s bread as he’s perfected his recipe over the past 15 years. There are only so many loaves of bread you can eat in a weekend so Margot found another outlet for his day-old sourdough bread: croutons! When friends and family started eating them by the handfuls and clamoring for more, they knew they had to turn these delicious morsels into a snack everyone could enjoy. And here we are today, sharing the morsel love with you. Our morsels are made by hand using authentic San Francisco sourdough bread, the real deal, and local, organic ingredients. Then we bake them to golden perfection. Margot’s Morsels may look like croutons, but they’re really the tastiest, crunchiest snacks you’ve ever munched. Add them to salads and soups, or sprinkle our bread crumbs to add crunch to your favorite recipes.
