I’m a creative problem solver and maker with over 25 years of experience designing communications, products, services, and wearable art. My education is in human-centered design, and in addition to my jewelry design business, I currently work as a service designer in the financial industry, where I design systems that support real human needs and behaviors. Jewelry is my hands-on design practice. I studied jewelry through individual classes, mentors, and studio work rather than a traditional university program, building technical skills specifically to support the ideas I wanted to make. I continue to learn and expand my practice over time. My jewelry is designed for daily wear. The work is charming, practical, and expressive—made for people who are comfortable mixing styles and references. Many designs draw from antique and pre-1930s impression dies, which I reinterpret in modern ways by changing scale, proportion, or context. These die struck pieces are 'made the old fashioned way and are incredibly durable for a lifetime of use. I approach jewelry the same way I approach service design: by focusing on the wearer. I consider how a piece will be worn, how it moves on the body, and how it feels over time. Comfort and usability are as important as form.
