Hello, my name is Konstantin Chinkov and I’ve been painting since the age of 2. I didn’t really appreciate watercolor painting until around the age of 18. I always had difficulty with it, but over time learned how to control the medium and fell deeply in love with it. Fast forward several more years and I got the idea to make these books so that it can be something that my nephew might enjoy. I quickly found out that other people enjoy them too, but the biggest bonus was the videos. A lot of people enjoy watercolor painting and there’s also a lot who want to try it, but just can’t get the hang of it. That’s where the videos come in. I’m by no means an expert, but I truly enjoy painting every time that I sit down to do it. In the videos I try to convey to people to let go a bit and try to have fun more so than to make everything perfect. The reason being is that this helps keep a person interested and when you’re having fun doing something then naturally you want to keep doing it. The improvement comes from this repetition. I also spent a very long time figuring out my process and where to get the raw materials so that I can provide a quality product at an affordable price.
