Simply Stated truly started as a hobby back in 2015. Chrissy was beginning a family and was heavy into research on ingredients and learning more about holistic approaches. The hobby started with solely essential oils and basic body butters + body scrubs. Soon co-workers and friends were asking for their own products and in a variety of fragrances. Keeping with the mission of "clean ingredients" we dove deep into more research, finding suppliers aligned with our values. We attended trainings and conferences to learn as much as we could on ingredient benefits, proper formulation, good manufacturing practices, scaling small batches, and growing a handcrafted business. Fast forward to 2021 and both Marcia and Chrissy had walked away from their long-term careers. While we left at different times, there was a resounding reason behind each resignation: massive burnout and failure to prioritize our own well-being. This was our lightbulb that our brand was no longer just about fun smelling bath products, it had to encompass that self-care is a necessity for us working women and mamas! We went full force into Simply Stated to grow not only our retail side through e-commerce and markets, but stepping into the expansive world of wholesale. Today you can find us still formulating our own products, handcrafting each in small batches, and working closely with our small team here in Colorado.Read their story
