Growing up in coastal MS, casual wear is what we were raised on, and wearing hats are a main staple in a relaxed, but stylish wardrobe. This accessory was especially important for me when my hairline continued to recede at a young age. Friends that did not realize I had a receding hairline would tell me that I was "hat fishing" when my cap was removed. Combine my love for this universal wardrobe staple, the long-time hairline joke with my passion for fishing, and Hatfish Co was born! We are a family-owned business. My wife and I have four sons together - Jack, Henry, Shep, and Benji. My oldest son and I share a love for design and drawing. Together we have friendly competitions at our kitchen counter on our artwork. Therefore, one of the things we love about Hatfish Co is that our designs are designed in-house. Be on the lookout for some of Jack's originals coming to life through our Brand! Henry and I share the love for fishing together. He could spend all day at a pond not catching anything! Shep is our fearless, independent, strong-willed child that teaches us everyday to take risks regardless of what anyone thinks! And then, there's the caboose - Benji, who loves sports and is a naturally gifted universal athlete that loves the game! These four boys are our "Why" and "Motivation". We are teaching them that with hard work and dedication you are capable of achieving anything and leaving a legacy!
