About Illu-ster

Hi! I am Saskia Heijmans, a Dutch illustrator. I like to create little stories without words with my illustrations. Fragments and snippets that inspire you to tell your own story. They are about nice, sad or funny things. Beauty can be found in everything and I love to show that. In 2016 I started my own stationary brand illu-ster. The collection has expanded over the years to include an extensive range of cards, stationery, prints and gift items, which I mostly produce in my own studio. In 2021 I decided to work fulltime at illu-ster and started to offer my products to resellers. I'm happy to say illu-ster was received well and has since then grown a lot! I think it's really important that my products are sustainable, Therefore I use as little packaging as possible and have all my cards printed on a beautiful type of paper that is made from 100% agricultural waste. I’m always looking for sustainable ideas and solutions for my product development and packaging. I re-use boxes and plastic for shipping.Read their story
