HELLO! My name is Marcus. Evil Vintage was started in lockdown as a way to make money buying and selling vintage clothes and toys. The name came from a cool old badge I had with evil on it so I made a few badges as well and they just took off straight away and as sales grew I made more. All badges are designed on my ancient Mac, some hand drawn, taking inspiration from 70s punk, Jamie Reid, Better Badges, Art Chantry, Sofia Coppola, Gummo, 80s & 90s Bootleg Garage Punk, Rockabilly and Surf LP covers especially anything done by Tim Warren, Flyers & Fanzine culture, 50s 60s Trash Pulp Fiction book covers and Movie Posters and trashy newspaper ads, Letraset Fonts, Counterculture, 90s Lo-fi San Francisco scene bands like The Trashwomen & Bobbyteens & Brentwoods, and the whole garage and rockabilly & east la culture, The Cramps, B Movies, John Waters, Cookie Muller & the Hairdressers and crew from Female Trouble!
