Alice Caroline grew out of a life-long love of vibrant Liberty prints. As a child, Alice Garrett would pore over her grandmother’s stash of fabrics, savouring the bright delights of each new print. Choosing Liberty fabrics for her products, with its delicate and inventive patterns, intense long-lasting colours, and its traditional English heritage was a natural choice for Alice. Supporting British design and manufacturing is at the heart of our business. Our studio, based in a converted barn in the Cotswold hills, and is a hive of creativity and industry. Our products are of exceptional quality and design and are made in the UK in an ethically audited factory. The range showcases the best of British design, from classic William Morris prints to contemporary botanicals. Running an ethical business is very important to us. We pay a fair living wage, we source the raw materials for our products ethically (wherever possible) and most of our staff are women and mothers that work part time around the needs of their children.
