About SKRP
Chris has a real passion for the environment and is always at home in nature. Spent a large part of his life in the wilderness all across Canada and beyond, canoeing many whitewater rivers as a guide, climbing on the west coast and camping with friends and family. SKRP came to be after a trip to Nova Scotia where Kate (Chris's wife) and he came across a shop that sold rings made out of recycled skateboards. As soon as Chris got home he went to work and made a ring! Pretty quickly he started experimenting, expanding, collaborating, building a workshop and over time improving and refining the production of our custom skateboard and snowboard products. We've partnered with skate shops as well as ski hills, US and Canadian distribution and manufacturing companies to keep as many boards out of the landfill as we can.
