About OUTPOST ORIGINAL
Charlotte du Toit first established Outpost Original in New York City in 1997, designing products out of her NYC apartment and manufactured in her home country of South Africa. Since then, the company has evolved into a Montreal based manufacturing studio with all furniture, pillows, throws and most accessories made in house. Working from our studio allows for optimal quality control to ensure we offer our clients high-end luxury items. The décor and accessory pieces we provide are a celebration of beauty; combining natural landscapes, craftsmanship and contemporary design. We also work extensively with designers on custom pieces for projects and lines for major retailers in the United States.
