Ornament Art was established in Oct 2024 when the husband-and-wife team, Jo and David Short, began photographing pieces from the eclectic collection of ornaments, antiques and knick-knacks that fill their home and studio space. They reimagine these mixing vintage vibes with modern humour and contemporary colour to result in Ornament Art’s distinct style. The duo source, style, set build and shoot the retro treasures turning their beautifully photographed ideas into greetings cards, gift wrap and photo art prints. The images inspire feelings of warmth and nostalgia whilst their humorous approach raise a smile and sometimes eyebrows too.
