About Savonnerie du Regagnas

The Regagnas soap factory was born in 2006 to answer a simple need: how to take care of your sensitive skin on a daily basis? At the time, cold saponified soaps and organic were not as widespread as they are today. So Maria Gennen decided to create her own soaps for her use but also for that of her children. Since the soap factory has evolved, it has moved from Maria's kitchen to a small workshop located in Aix-en-Provence where her son recently joined her: so it's a real family affair. Despite the changes and the passage of time, the method of manufacturing products has remained unchanged. The soaps are made in an artisanal way, cut and stamped by hand. What are the benefits of cold saponification? First of all, the process is more environmentally friendly, it gives a real handmade soap without any release into the environment and without the addition of synthetic additives. The soaps are enriched with noble, non-saponified oils that maintain the balance of the skin's hydrolipidic film. This process of cold saponification therefore makes it possible to preserve the quality of the raw materials used so that they confer all their virtues to the finished products. The result is a rich soap, of great softness, composed of “native” glycerin, noble non-saponified oils, and all their precious unsaponifiable active ingredients: much more than soap, a skin care!
