Welcome to the wonderful world of gourds! This has been a passion of mine for 30 years. My family are gourd-heads! My uncle was a founding member of the American Gourd Society that started in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Every October we would drive to the famous Ohio Gourd Show for inspiration, home grown gourds and friendship. And my uncle’s famous quote: We had seen the light on Mount Gilead: One Gourd Nation, under Cross Pollination. In Gourd we Trust. Communication
The gourds are excellent quality but the communication is terrible! I ended up having to have Faire to contact her just to get her to reply to me. That is when she finally replied stating that she didn’t have them. Placed order May 16 and cancelled the order June 3rd due to communication issues and the order never shipped. I tried communicating and all I asked for was updates. So cancelled my order. Faire cancelled my order for me. I just got tired of waiting with no returned messages.

The gourds were beautiful on the outside and about half were pretty thick shells but the other not so thick. I would recommend the gourds. It takes a bit usually to get a reply to messages. Overall my experience was good just not all were thick gourds as the description says. On the other hand it is truly not easy to get thick walled gourds either when growing them. She let me know that really thick shelled gourds come from CA.
