Sew Sweet Minky Designs was established in Utah in 2016 by Nicole Miller. After teaching herself how to sew as a hobby, Nicole saw the opportunity to sew minky blankets and baby goods to make a little extra money. She soon began selling them on local community websites and then on Etsy. When Nicole found herself overwhelmed by orders, she began hiring other stay-at-home women to help sew the blankets. After a year and a half of this system, the introduction of the new Facebook Live feature gave Nicole the opportunity to get minky blankets to everyone.
