About The Pattern Book

The Pattern Book creates beautiful greetings cards and poster-wrap from vintage graphics. We’re fascinated by art, science and the history of ideas, seeking out thoughtful and unique designs in unusual places, such as long-forgotten catalogues, old scientific illustrations, obscure infographics and baffling, technical drawings. Launched in 2016, we supply hundreds of wholesale customers across three continents, from bookstores, gift shops, and lifestyle stores, to galleries, museums and concert venues, many of them world class. We now ship to the USA with all duties and tariffs pre-paid by us (Delivered Duty Paid, or DDP), so we ask our American customers to ignore any 'estimated tariff' cost displayed in your cart when creating your Faire order. All our products are printed on sustainably sourced Italian paper, and since 2023 our cards are printed on 100% recycled, carbon-neutral paper. They're even printed on a carbon-neutral press and packaged in compostable bags with a recycled kraft envelope.
