About Barkville Bakery

Hi, I'm Kayla Swatzell! I founded Barkville Bakery in 2017 in a small town just south of Kansas City after looking for fresh dog treats and not finding many options. I use as many fresh ingredients, sourced locally as available. My 5 pups - Tank, Scout, Gemma, Atlas, and Molly - are all too happy to be my taste testers. In just a few years, Barkville Bakery has seen huge changes. In 2019, we started our food truck for dogs - the Treat Waggin' - and we moved out of our home-based business and into our new retail space and bakery.
