About Ajiri Tea Company

Ajiri means "To employ" in swahili. Ajiri aims to create employment for women in Kenya. Ajiri employs 60 women to handcraft each and every label for the tea and coffee boxes using dried bark from banana trees. The award-winning tea is handpicked from small farms in Kenya. 100% of the profits from the sale of Ajiri products go back to Kenya to pay school fees for orphans.

This is delicious tea and support Kenyan orphans, what’s not to love?!? Also, you get an original piece of art with every box, it’s fantastic! Love love love Ajiri Tea and what they stand for! Looks pretty in the shop too, people love it!
